Do Something!

Ladies have you had an experienced that changed your life dramatically? I mean the way you see yourself is different from before. Well one of my life changing experiences was giving birth to an entire human. Yassss! Carrying the weight of a baby and enduring the delivery process!

This baby bundle is really a joy in my life. After I pushed this joy out of my body, which is just amazing within itself, guess what?!? I have a new body. What I once looked like pre-baby is not exactly what I look like postpartum. All the working out, sweat, sore muscles and toned arms is of the past.

Now that I have a new body, it's time to work out even harder, burn the fat, feel sore muscles again and sweat even more because my body experienced birthing a child and needed to recover from it.

Ladies, I come to tell you, you may be discouraged about how you look now and reminisce on your past body. I come to tell you I am with you. Let's love our bodies and put in work on the areas we want to change, tone or reduce.

I am working out with a plan now, not just to lose the extra weight I gained during pregnancy but regain my joy for exercising and being healthy because I plan to live a long life. And I desire to live a long life I love while in a body I will work hard to sculpt.

Join me as I live a life I love in a body I love! Not only must we feed our spirits with the Word but we need to feed our bodies with healthy food and daily exercise. Instead of going to lunch with your sisters go on a walk date or take a Zumba class together. Get those limbs moving and watch your energy increase and your body thank you for working it out.

I recently used the stair climber machine at the gym and stayed on it for 10 minutes. That 10 minutes made me sweat and I continued sweating as I drove home. Now that may not sound like a lot to you but that 10 minutes for me after finishing other exercises was a challenge. But it felt great! The next day I was walking up some stairs and my legs felt good. I felt stronger and gave myself a smile. Now I must be consistent so my body can continue to thank me.

Don't settle for excuses, make the time to take care of the one body you have. Set a workout schedule. Get a cute outfit and work that body girl! You don't have to complain about not liking how you look, you can do something!
