Queen, Do Not Worry

Matthew 6:25-27 reads, 25 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?  I would hear this passage of scripture quite often growing up. Recently, this passage came back to my remembrance. God began to remind me of how He has taken care of every care I have had and how He did it. What a blessing right! My daddy takes care of all my needs. He has had people to be His hands and feet to bless me.

I remember a couple of years ago, I had a desire to get away from where I reside and didn't have the funds to do so. I entered the mind of a woman I had just met. She emailed me to ask if I would be interested in representing the program as an alumnus at a leadership conference. All expenses paid and food included. What!?! You know I went and had a ball. God showed me in this instance that He not only will supply all of my needs and more.

God has orchestrated your next blessing! He is meeting your needs right now! Wait on Him without the worry and without the doubt.

There is more. Since making an announcement of my daughter's arrival, God has supplied for her beyond my own comprehension. Sometimes I can have a thought about what she needs and God supplies it. For example, I was sharing with my husband we need to buy her some diapers she's getting low in her supply. He said okay, do we have any gift cards left from the baby shower that we can use? I checked and we did. Great. So the following week at my daughter's Christening one of my lovely friends brought a Christening gift in a beautiful gift bag and a purple balloon. We did not look inside the bag until after the service and we were on our way home.

Guess what was in the bag?!? Diapers and wipes. God moved before we could. God hears you. We did not have to go to the store. Our need was met and brought it to us. God is so amazing, and He shows us how much he cares for us on a daily basis.

Take some time to thank Him for caring for your every need. Reflect on His goodness. Bask in His love. God maybe trying to take care of some of you and you are rejecting how the gift is coming. God will use who He wants to bless you. Embrace the way God wants to love on you.

Queen, Do Not Worry.
