What are you willing to sacrifice to be who you are called to be?

Take some time to grab your journal and a pen to answer these questions.

  • What are you willing to sacrifice to become who God called you to be?
  • What are you willing to sacrifice to reach your goals?
  • What baggage are you going to drop so that you can stop saying "I'm trying" and say "I'm doing"?

Yesterday, I asked a similar question to a group of brilliant young adults who house so much potential. What I have noticed though, is when we house potential sometimes we do not acknowledge that it will take sacrifice to actualize our potential in the earth. Yes, some things may come naturally but others will need to be worked on with intentionally and strategy.

If you were like me, a few years ago I said: "Oh I will start my business when I have this or have obtained that knowledge." If I can be transparent here, that was fear talking because I was not ready to take a faith of leap. I was not ready to take a risk. I was afraid of what I did not know. I was fearful of failing. What if my idea wasn't good enough to generate income. AHHHHH I put myself through unnecessary worry and stress.

If that is you, today is your moment to leap. You may have been toying with ideas but have not made the sacrifices to actualize it. Whatever your "thing" is do it. Write that business plan, start your YouTube Channel, write your book, adopt a child and the list goes on.

I sacrificed some social time with loved ones. I sacrificed a few hours of sleep a few nights a week. I turned down party invitations to fulfill my purpose. I put myself out there and did it afraid. On the other side of my sacrifice was beauty, confidence, deliverables accomplished, and lessons learned.

What are you willing to sacrifice?

I am going to sacrifice (insert) to go to the next level. Use this sentence to leave in the comments below.
